Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets
- Calculate premiums
- Establish client insurance coverage
- Establish method of payment
- Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed
- Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients’ enquiries
- Provide customer service
- Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance

- 1 to 2 people
Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB)
- Provincial or territorial licence
