Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assist in product development
- Direct the development and maintenance of an organization’s Internet and intranet sites
- Direct the marketing strategies of establishments
- Establish distribution networks for products and services
- Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases
- Train staff
- Manage contracts
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs
- Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
