Responsibilities
Tasks
- Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities
- Manage difficult situations with customers
- Perform general office duties
- Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, which include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Attend to cancellations and schedule changes
- Develop contact lists
- Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system
- Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs
